- Royaltyisrudolf Added 28/11/2017★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Beautiful location: lodge is situated halfway up a mountain/hill which when I visited was covered in fog, and the lodge overlooks a lake and looks out to sea. The staff were very friendly and the food cooked at the restaurant was very nice - the fish and chips that I had was delicious (local fish), and the Achill beer was also good. One fault that I found with the lodge is the lack of wifi: this combined with the lack of signal in the area made it impossible to access the internet.
